Skylert gives parents control of communications

Set your preferences to determine how often you receive calls from the district or schools

Getting information about what’s happening at your student’s school is important. But how you get that information is up to you!

The SchoolMessenger system we use to send automated phone messages has been integrated with the Skyward Student Management platform through the Skylert module. Through Skylert, parents and guardians can set their preferences for general communication from Lake County Schools.

If you have a Skyward Family Access account, and do not want to receive general calls from your school or the district, you can opt once you’re logged in. Don’t have an account? Click here to download an enrollment form. The Skyward Family Access account gives you access to your student’s grades as they are posted, along with attendance records, test scores, homework assignments and important district documents, such as the student code of conduct.

If you don’t want a Skyward Family Access account and you simply want to opt out of general calls, simply turn in a SchoolMessenger Contact form at your child’s school.
