2017-18 Jacket Cafe'

Leesburg has some new changes in 2017-18 school year. For Culinary Academy we are excited to introduce our new advanced culinary classes.

Students will have the opertunity to choose a career path for thier culinary 4 class. These are broke into 3 sections all are honor credits and students must be recomended to take these options.

The following are the corse options:

1) Hospitality Management and Event Planing

2) Advanced Baking and Pastry

3) Gastronamy and Garde Manger

These corses are rigorous and require extra work for the students. Each one is project based and completion of each section require a set amount of hours. Non attendance in class will result in failure of that corse.

The Jacket Cafe' will serve diffrent menu's to reflect these new classes offering unique and very special dishes. We look forward to serving the public, teachers, parents and special guest. Along with our regular hours Thursday and Fridays from 11am-12:25 we will open for some special reservation only dinners. These diners will showcase students advanced culinary techniques and skills.

The Jacket Cafe will Open Augsut 24th and 25th

The hours are 10:50-12:20

we are a student run restaurant who holds a ocupational licence and health licence

The restaraunt has a basic menu we run 3-4 weeks then we do specialty menus to showcase students learning. Please loo for unpcoming menus and weekly specials. Below is our normal restaurant menu attached.

The Jacket Cafe open last week only 2 weeks into school.

The advanced culinary students have gotten off to a great start.

Soup: Black Bean

Sandwich : Turkey Club on Multy grain toast

Chefs Specials:

Carabean Seared Ahi Tuna with apple chutny served with rice

South Western Stinger- fried chicken tenders topped on tator tots finished with nacho cheese, hot sauce, tomatoes nad jalapenos

Dessert is Chocolate Torte with Strwberry Glaze

Hours are 10:55-12:20 you can drive right up to cafe off of Sumter Street and sign in right in restaurant and park next cafe'
